The big question

The big question!!
No - not 'what is the meaning of life?' but 'Can Scotland do it tonight?'
Can we beat Georgia in the Euro qualifier?
One thing seems almost certain - if we don't make it to the finals it will only be because Scotland has an incredible knack of finding new ways to only just miss out or to fall at the last hurdle. But, maybe tonight... followed by a win or draw against Italy....

The early signs say "no".

Although the less said about England's particular debacle the better. :-/

I think you'd need the entire cast of "escape to victory", complete with sylvester stalone in goals, to this one off.

Yes it is a real test of belief in miracles this one. As I did say in the post, Scotland always find new ways to just miss out on qualification etc. Being beaten by a schoolboy team is just the latest - though I have to say the 16/17 year old looked pretty grown up to me. Full marks to the Georgian coach for understanding the Scottish psyche better than Alex McLeish

Yes, I agree you should recruit Sly Stallone in nets - the only downside would be that you'd have to tell him where to stand on corners (and break your current goalie's arm to let him play). ;-)

Oh yeah, and the Scots are almost as good as England.
