In response to several requests from my younger readers... here is another "mystery object." This time, I think it may not be too difficult. What do you think it is?

That's a very good guess... except for one thing... it is wrong. :-) I revealed what it was last night at a meeting of our Kirk Session workgroups though... so if you know someone who was there...
I am a Presbyterian Minister but contrary to the image that this might conjure up in some people's minds, I enjoy life!! I especially like music-- making it or listening to it. Over the years I've had one or two pieces of poetry and some hymns published but I've never managed to write anything substantial. This blog is no exception!
